Yellow sticky fly traps in an agricultural, greenhouse setting.
Through a process known as phototaxis, certain insects are attracted to specific colors on the visible spectrum. Relying upon this principle, we have developed our adhesive flying insect traps collecting insects, monitoring insect populations, and protecting against infestations.
Yellow is known to be attractive to many flying insects commonly found in homes, gardens, greenhouses, and near potted plants. Such insects include winged adult white flies, fruit flies, aphids, leaf miner flies (“leafminers”), fungus gnats, and thrips.

EcoPest yellow sticky fly traps are coated with an adhesive substance to create traps to collect and monitor populations of these insects. These traps can be used both as collection devices and methods of monitoring/sampling population levels of certain insects in homes, gardens, greenhouses, and/or agricultural fields.
